Interview on 'Ilsien in-Nisa' TV Show

Hello Everyone,

How are you? Hope you are all well. Even though the weather has been a bit cold here you can still feel that Spring is in the air. 

After the 'Lovin' Malta Article' I was invited for an interview on the Maltese TV Show 'Ilsien in-Niesa' on One TV.

I got to share with the telespectators how my love for dolls houses started and how from a hobby it turned into a passion and a lifestyle.

I got to explain what it takes to build a dolls house and it's process. It's been over  25 years since the day I started building my very first dolls houses and now I have over 30 dolls house projects in my collection.

On my You Tube Channel I have added the  interview which you can watch below.

During the show several pictures were featured, and here are a few .

I have had quite a few requests to upload video of my dolls house collection on You Tube. I will be considering it and will try it out and see how it goes.

The Main Bedroom in Le Château!

 Hello everyone,

Here I am again! Hope you are all well. I have been quite busy working on my miniatures and on my project lately. Le Château is taking quite long to complete, but the time and work behind it, is definitely worth the wait!

I have worked on all the furniture pieces for the main bedroom. There was so much to do, I first started working on the bed which I consider it to be the X factor, It took me some time to do and measure especially the canopy which I designed and made.

 Every piece of furniture was painted and decorated to fit the style with marble effect tops.

The Wardrobe.

The Dressing Table.

I added  one of my own clocks on the chest of drawers. 

The wall panels have been decorated with rococo style frames that I made and added portraits to fit. 

The room still needs to be decorated with accessories and additions but this is how it looks like so far.  

I hope you like what I have done. I can't wait to add more to the room and continue working on this project.

Vintage Pieces added to The Tudor Manor

 Hello Everyone,

How are you all? Hope you are all well. I am so excited to share with you a few vintage pieces that I found recently for my 1930's style Tudor Manor. 

The Tudor Manor is very close to my heart and I do enjoy adding vintage pieces when I find them. I found this 1930's Radio Transmitter complete with the head set and all. 

I was so lucky to find it and fitted nicely in the scene. To add to the little piece I found this German 1950's radio cabinet. I was thrilled to add it to the room. 

The radio cabinet once opened has the radio itself and a space where to put away the vinyl records.

 

I have added the gramphone's records with their covers to the cabinet and I will be making a few more. 

I am so happy with the new pieces added to the sitting room. 

I hope you liked the new additions. I can't wait to share with you the next updates of my project.

Article on Lovin' Malta News

 Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all feeling well. At the moment I am working on the main bedroom of 'Le Château' and I am really excited to share it with you when it is done. 

Last Sunday, I got quite a surprise when I woke up to an article on Lovin' Malta New shared on their website and social media. I didn't even know about it until someone pointed it out to me.

After 25 years of dolls housing I can see a huge difference in my work and definitely in myself too ;-).
