Binksy at Sea View!

 Hello Everyone,

How are you all? Hope you are well and had a great weekend. I wish I could say I did, but unfortunately it's not the case. The year started off with some sad news which was sudden and inevitable.

Last Saturday I lost one of my furry babies. Still can't believe that the fur ball is gone. I had Binksy for 18 wonderful years. He was my very first baby before I even had the kids. The passage of time is cruel and it's something we don't have any control over. I am lucky that I got to spend all this time with him but I would give anything to spend another 18 years with him once more.

To deal with the loss and pain I always find comfort in my miniature work. I can never bring back my Binksy but I can definitely create him in My Miniature World were he can live forever.

Binksy was quite the character like all Tomcats. He was playful, mischievous, talkative, a teaser and a loving darling. I found a small cat in my stash of miniatures that looked a bit like him but still not close enough.

I wanted him to have the same patches and colors so I painted the little cat, jut like him.

I have to say I am very pleased how the mini Binksy turned out to be. Considering that Binksy lived in modern times I could only see him fit in my modern dollshouse Sea View.

Sea View was to only residence that didn't own a pet so it was definitely ideal for Binksy. He has his own personalized dish bowl that I made.

Binksy was so full of life, playful and mischievous that there was no way that he would have lived in a new home without his favourite toys. I also got to make a scratch pole play gym and his favourite feather toy.

He looks so happy there. The good thing about it is that Mini Becks can enjoy him as much as I did without end.

With all the grief and sadness that I am going through, I am so happy that I got to create this in memory of my Binksy. He will always be a part of my heart no matter how far he is.  I know that he is in a better place and this will alway bring a smile to my face.

I hope that you like what I have created. Make sure to keep tuned for the next updates of my blog.

Take Care and See You soon.

Hugs,

Continuing with Disney Dolls' House

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all well. Here we are and I am picking up from where I have left off.

I am very excited to share with you the progress of the Disney Dolls' House which comes in part work on weekly basis. If you are a big fan of Disney then this is definitely a must-have collection. Apart from building the dollshouse you will also get lots of historical information on most of the  Disney Motion Pictures Movies. For those who live in Malta you can find it available to purchase from the Agenda Book Shop

It does take me a while to share with you the updates of this dollshouse as I have to wait for several parts which can take weeks and even months to complete a good part of the project.

The good thing is that so far I have managed to complete the building of the ground floor area which includes Mickey's room, Frozen's hallways and Alice's kitchen.

I have to say I am very pleased with the outcome and all the parts are of high quality and fit like a puzzle. Including the building pieces I also have some nice furniture pieces and accessories from various rooms that come as well with the issues. I will be sharing these pieces with you in the long run but I have to say they are worth the wait and I can't wait to see it complete.

So as Mickey's room was basically already done, I could move on with the other two rooms. The instructions that come with the magazine are very easy to follow with lots of pictures to help you along the way.

I continued working on Frozen's Hallway where you will find eventually the entrance to the house and the staircase. I totally love the vibrant colors of the wall paper and the detail of the wall borders.

My sweet Leah, since she was a baby, she loves Disney especially Mickey and Mini Mouse, so this is a project that I get to share with her too.

After Frozen's Hall Way was done, I worked on Alice in Wonderland's kitchen. The room is so spacious and it fits so well with the theme.

Here are some pictures of the rooms so far.

So this is all for today. I hope you like what I have done so far. I will be sharing some furniture pieces that I have been working on. Make sure to keep tuned for the next updates.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Just in time for Christmas I finally completed Miss Holly's Christmas Shoppe. Now her home is complete.

So that is a wrap up for 2022.  A few would ask what's next for 2023?

Just like a few might have realized I have slowed down a bit in 2022 and most probably the same thing will happen in 2023. Please don't be alarmed nothing wrong has happened and I am still in love with my passion, actually I am much more into my passion. In mid 2022 I was offered a one in a million opportunity which involves very much my dollshouse and miniature work. I am on a very tight schedule and I have a deadline till the end of 2023. Unfortunately I am  bound to a contract and my lips are sealed. I can't share this amazing project that I am working on to anyone especially on social media until I have the go ahead from the big boss.  So this is a really good thing that I am happy to work on and eventually, when the time comes I will be sharing every detail of it with you.

Nevertheless this doesn't mean that I won't be working on anything else.  Actually far from that. I will be focusing a bit more on smaller projects which I can handle working on the side. Most of these project have been in the pipeline for quite some time. All these will be shared with you on the blog and social media. Starting from this month I will be travelling to The Netherlands for the Dolls House Fair in Expo Houten and hopefully in October for the Dollshouse Netherland Show in Arnhem.

So as you can see, I will be busier than ever and the blog will be updated on regular basis as usual.  I will continue working on the Disney Dollshouse, I have two new projects in mind that involve 3 little piggies and our friendly ghost Lumia.

From here I want to wish you and your loved ones a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

So this is all for today. Looking forward to share with you new projects.  Make sure to keep tuned for  the new adventures at My Miniature World.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Hugs,
