National Day of Puppetry

 Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. A quick post to share with you my latest project. I have just finished making another miniature Puppet Theater.

For some crazy reason I love these miniature theaters and funnily enough on 22nd of April we celebrate National Day of Puppetry.

This must be my largest one to date. I had a couple of puppets that to me fit nicely in the scene.

Pinocchio and Little Bo Peep were hand painted by my father and finally I found the right place for them. The little Pierrot was a handmade me down that I received as a gift a few years ago.

Little Bo Peep looks so cute with her sheep in the floral themed theatre.

I also made a little table for the theatre to be placed on.

I hope you like the little theatre as much as I do. I am very happy how it turned out. This is all for today. Make sure to keep tuned for the next update.

Take Care and See You Soon.

The Fairy and The Lantern

 Good morning Everyone,

Another new week is ahead of us. Hope you all had a great weekend.

I can't wait for Summer and always look forward to my growing plants and roof garden. I decided to make a small garden project with a lantern called The Fairy and The Lantern.

I had this small lantern and got some garden accessories to decorate it with. I also got some battery lights to light the lantern too.

It didn't take long to decorate but it will look great on the roof garden.  Here are some pictures of the complete lantern.

It isn't much but I hope you like it. This is all for today, make sure to keep tuned for the next update.

Take Care and See You Soon.

National Scrabble Day

Hello Everyone,

How are you all? Hope you are having a great week. It has been busy in the last few days. The weather is quite nice and it's getting warmer.  Today we are celebrating National Scrabble Day and I wanted to share with you my miniature Scrabble board game.

Scrabble was invented in 1938 by the American architect Alfred Mocher Butts. It's a word game that could be played between 2 and 4 people.   At the time it was a very popular game and most families enjoyed playing it around the dining table.

The setting is placed in the dining room of my Tudor Manor which is decorated in the 1930s style.

I have managed to make a 1:12 scale Scrabble board and the alphabet tiles and the letter stands. I have to say it was quite fiddly to do but I am very happy with how it turned out. It was completed just in time for the occasion.

I hope you like it. Make sure to keep tuned for the next updates.

Take Care and See You Soon.

New miniatures for Easter

 Hello Everyone,

Hope you are enjoying your Easter with your loved ones.

Yesterday evening I got to add new Miniature accessories to The Cotton Tail Cottage just in time for Easter.

I have to say it always feels special adding something new to your project no matter how small it is.

I finally got to add the miniatures that I got last January from the fair in The Netherlands.

I also got to add two more miniatures that I made with my 3D printer and then hand painted.

I totally fell in love with these two bunnies in a bag.

Yesterday evening I made the little basket of Easter eggs and the Rag Doll Bunny.

I have to say I am really happy how it all turned out.

From here I want to wish a very Happy Easter to you and your loved ones.

This is all for today, make sure to keep tuned for the next updates and news.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Michelangelo's Pieta` in the Chapel

 Hello Everyone,

Hope you are looking forward to Easter. Yesterday it was Good Friday and I wanted to add a significant miniature to the Divine Mercy's Chapel.

I made a small miniature Pieta`using my 3D Printer and hand painted it. The Pieta' that I made is like the one in St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican sculptured by Michelangelo.

I was blown away by it's beauty when I visited Rome and saw it with my own eyes.

I added a base and placed it on the alter in my Divine Mercy's Chapel. It looked perfect.

The Chapel still looks beautiful. It has been 9 years since the completion of its renovation.

I hope you like my new addition to the chapel.

Will be back very soon.

The Miniature1950's Pedal Toy Car

Hello Everyone,

How are you all? Hope you are having a great week. Today I wanted to share with you a small project that I did during the last weekend.

I finally managed to do a miniature 1950's pedal toy car. I have been wanting to do one of these for quite some time. I had the pattern saved from a few years ago so I put my head to it and made the little toy car. It made out of cardboard.

The little sweetheart looks so happy in his toy car. The little car was inspired by the miniature sports car that my father painted.

I hope you like the little Miniature pedal toy car. That is all for today. Make sure to keep tuned for the next updates.

Take Care and See You Soon.

International Children's Book Day.

Hello Everyone,

Today it's International Children's Book Day. We all know how important books are for children. We all know how important story time is for them. It helps them broaden their imagination and knowledge. As a child I always enjoyed reading an adventure or one of those classics that you just could't put down until you reach the end. I definitely had more time to indulge myself in a good book when I was young.

Today at The Dickens Book Shop in Regent Street there was an open day for Children to enjoy the library. There was also show and tell and reading sessions. The Children enjoyed every bit of it.

That is all for today until next time.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Hugs,
