Noelle's Christmas Eve

 Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all well and that you are looking forward to Christmas. Like most of you know Christmas Eve is the highlight of my Christmas. It's the most magical night of the year and it brings so many sweet memories to me.

At Holly's Christmas Shoppe the Christmas Spirit never fades and this year is no exception. Everyone is waiting for the magical night to celebrate the birth of a very special baby and the visit from Father Christmas.

This year Holly's niece Noelle wanted to spend Christmas Eve with her. She was so excited. After spending the day helping her aunt with clients, it was time for her to go to bed.

Holly shared her bedroom with her niece and Noelle was happy just to be there. In the middle of the night, Noelle heard footsteps close by and hushed noises.

She woke up to see what her aunt was up to and followed the sounds. The sounds came from the living room which was across the hall. She opened the door gently and to her surprise, it wasn't her aunt but Father Christmas.

She couldn't believe her own eyes to see him standing in the living room next to the Christmas tree and fireplace.

The door made a squeak and their eyes locked.  Noelle froze but he only nodded his head and gave her a smile. With that Noelle entered the room.

"Hello young lady, you are past your bedtime." He told her softly with a twinkle in his eye.

"I heard noises and I thought you were my aunty Holly!" Noelle exclaimed.

He chuckled and continued adding the gifts under the tree. "Have you been a good girl this year Noelle?"

"I think I have been. I ate all my vegetables and helped my aunt in the shop." Noelle said proudly.

"Indeed you have and what would you like this year?" Father Christmas asked her.

"I would love to have a baby doll sir if you please." He turned around and out of thin air he produced a baby doll.

Noelle squealed with excitement. "Oh my, thank you so much kind sir. She is exactly like the one I wanted. I have seen her in the toy shop window just a few days ago."

She held the baby doll in her arms. Noelle was in total wonder. "Merry Christmas Sir and I wish you a safe trip. "

"Merry Christmas Noelle. " She held on to her baby doll hoping that this wasn't just a dream.

"Will I ever see you again Sir ?" She turned around and was surprised to find herself standing alone in the room with her new baby doll.

She tiptoed back to the bedroom and rushed to the bed happy as can be. It was a night that she would never forget and cherished the brief moment when she met Father Christmas on the most special night of the year.

This is all for today. From here I want to wish a Very Merry Christmas to you and to your loved ones.

This is all for today. Keep tuned for the next updates and latest news.

St. Nick visiting Villa Marie

Good morning everyone,

How are you all? Hope you are well and that you are preparing for Christmas. Can't believe that it's Christmas already.

I just wanted to share a miniature doll that I acquired a while ago and that I am sure you will like to see at this time of year.

I am so happy with this little St. Nick. He is a German antique bisque Hertwig doll dating from the 1890's.

I totally love his red cheeks and his jolly warm face.

This year he will be placed at Villa Marie one of my favourite vintage dollshouses that I have.

While the ladies are discussing their Christmas party, he decided to visit.

I think he fits perfectly in the scene.

This is all for today. Hope you like the new addition to my Hertwig Collection.  Keep tuned for the next update and latest news.

The Basement for Winnie the Pooh

 Hello Everyone,

How are you all? Hope you had a great weekend. It has been a while since my last post. Rest assured that I am busy with an extraordinary project that I will share with you when the time comes. Unfortunately for the time being it has to be hidden.

Between the errands and this project, I continue adding to the Disney Doll House Project. I continued working on the basement where our beloved Winnie the Pooh would stay.

The collection is quite big and takes a while to collect on a weekly basis but it is definitely worth it. All the parts fit and it is very detailed. This collection can be purchased from the Agenda Book Shop. Here is the online link to get the issues Disney Doll House

The part work was easy to complete the building of the basement.

I totally love how the furniture pieces turned out and Winnie the Pooh seems very happy.

I hope you like how the basement is turning out. I can't wait to share the progress of this project.

Make sure to stay tuned for the next updates and news.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Happy Halloween!

 Hello Everyone,

Just a quick pop in to wish you all a Happy Halloween.

I did a miniature scene that I wanted to share with you.

I used two kits that I got from Art of Mini and the lovely piece of furniture that Mr. Hans Gorgen made. A cute art in Wax painting done by Hazel.

I also made a miniature Halloween pup that looks very much like my Penny.

I am very happy with the little scene.

So this is all for today. Wishing you a Happy Halloween. Make sure to keep tuned for the latest news.

Mini Tina and The Gang!

Hello Everyone,

Here I am again. I have some exciting news to share. Miniature Tina has finally arrived.

Most of you know Tina. Tina is my very first Chihuahua pup. The eldest amongst her adopted sisters.

Tina is quite a character. She is very reserved and I would say an aristocrat. There is no messing around with Tina. She is the protector of the family and keeps on guard. If you want to keep your digits make sure to keep your hand to yourself especially if you are a stranger, but that won't be necessary because she will make it very clear that she doesn't like you especially if you are the postman.

But then again she has a heart of gold. She can be very gentle, especially with her family and her fluffy sisters.

Penny was feeling lonely with mini Becks even though she adores her mama. So Tina was next in line to arrive at the scene.

Tina was made by my dear friend and artist Kristin Pavlova. I was speechless when I saw the little pooch.

But Tina wasn't the only pup arriving at the museum. Kristin the lovely lady that she is sent me two more beautiful gifts.

A beautiful painting that she painted of these adorable cats. She also made the frame herself. The detail of the cats is out of this world.

And because she knows how much I love Pomeranians she sent a tiny pom so Tina won't be lonely while traveling. Look at how adorable that Pomerania is! So the sweetheart is going to be called Sadie. You never know maybe in the future I will have a real Pomeranian looking just like her.

Mini Becks is thrilled with the new pups.

Thank you so much my dearest Kristin for Tina and the lovely gifts. I am sure that in the near future, you will also be making Pixie and Button to complete the family. Mini Becks is already hinting that they are missing.

So this is all for today. I hope you like the new additions to the family. Make sure to keep tuned for the next updates.

Take Care and See you Soon.

DollsHouse Nederland Show 2023 in Arnhem

Hello Everyone,

How are you all? It's been a while since my last post. I have been extremely busy but I am managing so far. It's been a week since my visit to the Dollshouse Nederland Show in Arnhem, Holland. The last time I was in Arnhem was in March 2020 just at the start of the Covid pandemic. It was great to meet artists and be part of it all once again.

The two full days were amazing. There was so much to see. So many unique miniatures and accessories.

One of my proudest moments was when I spotted the Dolls House Nederland Magazine stand and there among the issues was my Delft Blue Project on the cover page.

I got so many lovely goodies from various artists and I can't wait to add them to my projects.

My first few miniatures were, the Autumn Pumpkin center piece, the tiny Nativity scene and the three unique nursery rhymes ceramic pieces that I got from My Thai Miniaturen

I was so happy to see the Spanish doll artist Victoria Heredia Guerbos. In 2020 I had bought a girl figurine and 2 tiny dolls so this year I bought a matching figurine and another beautiful doll.

I also got the tiniest doll for a 1:144 scale miniature dollshouse made by Almudena Gonzalez

Some unique furniture pieces made by H.J. Goergen and painted by Janet.

The cute tiny Teddy Bear from Betty Miniatures.

The Cutest of gifts from a dear friend that was aquired from Art of Mini. A bisque tiny child bunny that matches my other children in the Easter Project.

The old doctor's bag and a gift for the dressing room from Mini Vintage.

Beautifuf printed fabric from Susanna Alberti of Miniature Fashion

And lots of kits from Art of Mini, Melissa's Mini Wereld, Mini Vintage and Iriginals.

So that is pretty much it and I am very sure that everything will be keeping me busy for the next couple of months.

Make sure to keep tuned for the next updates and latest news.

Take Care and See You Soon.
