Miniatures for the Princess's Room - Fairy Tale M M Tower

Hello my dear friends,

Hope you are all fine and enjoying your weekend. Trying to do my best by keeping everything updated. It is not easy. I want to welcome three new followers to my blog; Debbie, Chas Brennan and Lucky Little Fringer. Welcome! It is very encouraging.

Today I will be sharing with you some miniatures that I did with polymer clay for my Princess's room in the Fairy Tale Magical Mystery Tower. Like some of you know this project is all about my favorite Disney fairy tales combined together.

I have completed most of this room. Maybe I will add a carpet and a few more minis.

I have made some curtains for the room and added a pair of birds in the window. These represent Cinderella's animal friends from Disney's Cinderella.

I have started then working on the inside of the room. I have found a pair of Glass slippers which fitted perfectly in the scene which come from the Cinderella story

Then I added some pieces that come from Disney's fairy Tale 'Beauty and the Beast' I found a nice clock and a three arm candelabra. The clock was perfect as it is the same size of the candelabra just like in the motion pictures. These represent the characters of  Cogsworth and Lumiere

Then I started working on my miniatures which I have made out of polymer clay. I have managed to make a teapot and tea cup to represents the characters of Mrs. Potts and Chip which are both featured in Beauty and the Beast.

I have added a shelve of books as both Bell in Beauty and the Beast and Rapunzel in Tangled love to read. The books where gifts from my dear friends Sergio and Doreen. The books are handmade and readable. I have also added a pair of bookends which have been hand painted by my father. Thank you so much guys. They will be treasured forever.

Then I printed the lantern painting which represents Rapunzel in Tangled. I have put it over the fire place just like in Disney's Tangled

I have also wanted to add a few animal friends which we find in  most of Disney's fairy tales. I have managed to do Pascal the little cameleon as seen in Tangled. He was quiet a challenge. He's not perfect but I am happy with him. He was done by me with polymer clay.

I have also made two fluffy animals with polymer clay. Both of them are in fur coats. They are my first animal creations. There is definitely room for improvement but I am happy. I have made a bunny and a cat.

I have made a couple of more miniatures like the pie, the vase with roses and the jug. I have also painted a spinning wheel which we find it mostly in the fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty. The spinning wheel has been featured in both Disney's Fairy Tales 'Sleeping Beauty' and 'Tangled'.

This is how it looks overall.

I hope you like what I have done in this little room. There is quite a combination of Disney's fairy tales. Keep tuned as next time I will be showing you some more work on the Witche's Den.

Take Care and see you soon.

Hugs,

Rebecca xxx

  3. Love all your polymer clay creations especially Pascal as he is so cute :). My 11 years old daughter has just started using polymer clay and has made some fantastic charms so far. I will need to get her to make some mini things for my dolls houses.
