Thank You Dolls House Emporium!

Hello everyone,

Hope you are all well. On the whole I am fine, trying to recover from the  great weekend. Before I start I want to welcome the new followers of my blog. I also want to thank everyone for your encouraging  messages that I received! Thank you xxx

Today it's just a quick post. Quite short but meaningful.

Yesterday The Dolls House Emporium surprised me by featuring the launch of My Miniature World on their Facebook Page and Twitter.

Thinking about it, I realized how thankful I am to The Dolls House Emporium for inspiring me through these past 22 years. Every dolls house that I have is branded by the DHE.

A few might know how it all started. I remember when my parents got the internet at home and I typed dolls houses in a search engine and there it was 'The Dolls House Emporium' The first one to pop up. I clicked on it and a new world begin for me.

I remember how impressed I was with every accessory, with every piece of furniture. I remember placing an order there every month without fail. Every catalog that I have going even earlier than 1996 inspired me.

Later on I had joined their forum where I got to know like minded people, made new friends, learnt a few tricks. Most of the DHE team knew me back then and I guess a few still do.

Today I am where I am thanks to them for teaching me the know-how.

Here are a few pieces that make DHE more special to me.

The Tudor Manor which is built by Adam Purser and decorated by Jackie Lee the founders of the DHE back in 1979. I still can't believe that I own it myself.

The DHE Museum. This room is decorated with miniature DHE dolls houses and has the 25th and 30th anniversary plates. There is also a tea set by DHE which was a sample before going into production but it never did. Lucky me I have one of their samples.

Finally the limited edition Queen Mary's Bed room collection which the DHE had the full permission by the Queen to reproduce a few pieces.

So from here I want to thank the Dolls House Emporium for being my greatest inspiration in the past 22 years.

See you soon everyone and take care.

Hugs,

Rebecca xxx
