The Drawing Room in Pembroke Grange

Hello Everyone,

Hope you and your loved ones are well and keeping safe. Living this new life in isolation does have its benefits especially when one can spare more time working on miniatures and dolls houses.

Finally I got to finish the last room in Pembroke Grange which is the Drawing Room.

The Drawing Room
The Drawing Room is the simplest of rooms which I left for last to decorate. One of my favorite furniture pieces that I added is the pianoforte.

I have changed the upholster for the sofa and arm chair with a warmer color. I just didn't like the silky cream fabric that they had.

I printed another carpet using the velvet textured paper and I have to say, this is one of my favorites that I made.

I have decorated the walls with a few printed canvases and  framed them with my 3D printed frames.

The wall shelves have been decorated with a few of my father's hand painted miniature figurines and with a other accessories.

I made a pair of  vases to put on the mantel piece of the fire place and also added a wall mirror which is another lovely piece that my father painted for me.

The small table in the center was decorated with a teapot, teacups, pastries and books. Miss Elizabeth Bennett and Miss Jane Austen enjoy sharing poem verses and literature during tea time.

Here are few more pictures of the complete drawing room.

I hope you like the decorated drawing room. It's simple and cosy, I suppose. My typical room.

Pembroke Grange is at its finally stages. Still need to decorate the staircase and make curtains so make sure to keep tuned for the next and last update on Pembroke Grange.

Take Care, Be Safe and See You Soon.

Hugs,

Rebecca xxx
