Today is Boxing Day, and I hope everyone had a truly lovely Christmas filled with warmth, joy, and special moments.

I wanted to share a few Christmas miniatures I’ve been working on just before Christmas.
One of my favourites is the tiny miniature snow globe which I made with polymer clay. The fun part is that it actually works and now it found its place in Holly’s Christmas Shoppe.
I’ve also created a new collection of hand-painted Christmas miniatures and toys, all inspired by the magic of the season.
I have made Santa Claus with a tree, Two Gnomes, a Christmas Teddy Bear and my favourite is the red lorry with the Christmas tree.
I am also pleased to introduce first three toys from The Nursery Nostalgia Collection : The Wolly Walker, The Puddle Parade Pull-Toy and The Cottontail Cruiser.
These new pieces will be available unpainted and in kit form at the International DollsHouse & Miniatures Fair in Houten (Utrecht), The Netherlands. The coming month will be a busy one as I prepare for the show, but I’m very much looking forward to it.

I hope you are well. As Christmas approaches, I find myself fully immersed in the joy of the season; decorating, creating, and gathering inspiration for the months ahead. There is something truly special about this time of year, and visiting miniature shows always feels like the perfect way to begin my Christmas preparations.
At the end of November, I had the pleasure of visiting the Kensington Dolls House Festival Christmas Show in London. It was a truly wonderful and inspiring show, with so much to see. There were beautiful pieces by artists from all over the world, and as always, I loved meeting artist friends and making new ones along the way.
I came home with a lovely haul of miniatures, each one very special in its own way.
One of the first pieces to find its place was Santa’s Teapot by the talented Sallyanne Meekins, which now stands proudly in Holly’s Christmas Shoppe.
I also brought home a tiny Paddington Bear by Sally Reader Miniatures, who for now has settled into the Tudor Manor nursery.
Another favourite is a miniature automata by L & A St. Leger, titled Gardener Watering Flower Pot. This beautiful and intricate piece now has pride of place at The Miniaturist.
I also found a stunning patterned miniature silk from Cinderella Miniatures. I can already imagine it being turned into sofa covers very soon.
From Charlie’s Magical Miniatures, I chose a sculpted baby oyster inspired by Disney’s Alice in Wonderland. It has been safely placed in the Fairy’s Nook, where it can remain without the risk of being eaten!
One of the most special additions is Poppy, the little girl mouse by my dear friend and artist Kamilla from Our Craft’s Nook. Poppy is very close to my heart, as Kamilla thought of me while she was being made. I chose her myself, which makes her even more special. She has now joined the Mouse House family with her new parents and is very happy in her new home.
During the show, one of my miniature books was displayed on Kamilla’s stand with one of her mice, which was such an honour and incredibly sweet to see.
I was also gifted something completely unexpected and truly wonderful by Thomas Murray: a beautiful Art Deco–style radio console. What makes it extra special is that it actually works! It connects via WiFi, allowing me to play music directly from my phone. For now, it stands proudly in my 1930s-style house, the Tudor Manor, adding so much atmosphere with music filling the space.
I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the talented artists I met at the show. Your creativity, generosity, and passion are what make events like Kensington so inspiring and special.
I am so happy with all the beautiful miniatures I brought back home. Moments like these remind me why I fell in love with miniatures in the first place; the stories, the friendships, and the magic found in the smallest details. Now, I’m already looking ahead and preparing for the International Dolls House Fair in Houten, The Netherlands.

Last weekend, I returned from the Kensington Dolls House Festival, Christmas Show in London and it was absolutely magical. I’ll be sharing all my little treasures in another post, but today I’m excited to share some very special news.
Holly’s Christmas Shoppe was featured in the latest issue of DollsHouse Nederland Magazine, with a beautiful seven-page spread and our darling Miss Noelle even made the cover!
Holly’s Christmas Shoppe has been a true labour of love. Located on the ground floor of my Regent Street in My Miniature World, the shop is a Victorian Christmas dream. The exterior is adorned with garlands, bows, and a welcoming Santa with his reindeer. Inside, a handmade Queen Victoria Christmas tree takes centre stage, surrounded by shelves of tiny ceramics, mugs, plates, cookie jars, and festive decorations. Every detail, from miniature pastries to wreaths and ornaments, brings the Christmas spirit to life.
Across the hall, Carol’s kitchen bustles with Christmas preparations; puddings, fruitcakes, cookies, and gingerbread men, while upstairs, Holly’s living room and bedroom are cosy, festive, and full of holiday charm. In the attic, a tiny nursery for Noelle, Holly’s niece, adds a playful secret world full of toys and soft colours.
Every piece is handmade, and working on this project has been pure joy. Holly’s Christmas Shoppe is more than a miniature; it’s a memory, a feeling, and a tiny world where the magic of Christmas never ends.
