The Study in Pembroke Grange

Hello Everyone,

How are you all? Hope you had a great weekend. It has been a while since I updated you on my ongoing Regency style project Pembroke Grange.  There is always so much to tell about my different projects that I never got the chance to share with the new additions to Pembroke Grange. Not today!...Today I'll get to share the study room in Pembroke Grange.

The Study
The Study was a room that I was really looking forward to do. I started off by working on lots and lots of book covers and books to fill in the bookcase and to place a few randomly on the desk.

Apart from the books added to the desk, there are other accessories that I made such as the letters, the ink pot with the quill, scrolls and the candelabra with candles. The desk chair was also upholstered again by me.

The accessories above the mantel piece and are also miniatures that I painted. My favorite are the pair of Urns. The walls have been decorated with Regency period paintings which I have printed on canvas and are framed with my hand painted frames.

In the center of the room I have placed a small table with a miniature galleon ship, books and a spy glass that I printed with my 3D Printer and painted.

Here are some more pictures of the room. I am sure that Mr. Darcy would love this.

I hope you like what I have done so far. I am sure that I will be coming back to this room and add more details here and there but so far it's looking good.

This is all for today. Hopefully I will be updating you with the completion of the project 'The Patient' which is part of the 'The Physician' and 'The Cures & Remedies Apothecary', so make sure to keep tuned.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Hugs,

Rebecca xxx
