The Sitting Room in 'Le Château'

 Hello everyone,

Hope you are well and that you had a great weekend. I have so much to share with you. Finally, after weeks of working constantly on the sitting room for 'Le Château', today I can say I have completed it. Actually, let's say that it is ready to be decorated with furniture pieces and accessories.

It took me several weeks to finish because every little decoration was done by me.... or to be more accurate with the help of my two trustworthy 3D printers.

It took me hours of measuring, to resize and to make everything fit exactly how I pictured it in my head.  Every pieces was painted to match with the room.

My favorite two pieces are the niches in the back wall with the two statues; 'The Dancer' by Antonio Canova and The Venus Callipyge.

The two niches were set in the back corner wall and were divided from each other with one of my false doors leading to my imaginary dining room.

The fire place was also painted in a way to match the room's colour pallet. The frame on top of the fireplace's mantel piece still needs a nice painting to be added to it.

Finally the ceiling rose was another piece that I made and painted to match the room.

Here are some pictures of the finished room all set to be decorated.

Can't believe that it turned out so well. I'm looking forward to decorate this particular room. I hope you like what I have done so far.

So this is all for today. Make sure to keep tuned for the next update and for more news at My Miniature World.

Take Care and See You Soon,

Hugs,

  4. What stunning salon. I very much like the additional door to the stairs and also in the back. So much depth - so much space you would like to explore. It is perfect.
