Continuing Working on Felicia's Bedroom!

 Hello Everyone,

Hope you all had a great weekend. We had strong winds for the past few days so I enjoyed my weekend working on Felicia's Bedroom.

I was all set to start working on the bed which was to fit the alcove in the wall. The bed was designed and built from scratch by me to fit the alcove.

The bedding was  also done by me with matching, cushions,  pelmet and curtains for the alcove.

Once I have completed it. I have made a few frames to be fixed to the back wall.

I also printed another frame and added a print of a girl's antique painting to put on top of the fireplace.

Do you remember when the Miniaturist, Lady Adelaide from Regent Street built the dolls house 'Le Maison de Ville' for a French noble gentleman? Well here it is for his daughter Felicia.

I still need to add more pieces of furniture to the room and accessories but I have to say I am very proud how it turned out.

Hope you like the progress of Felicia's bedroom so far. Make sure to keep tuned for the next update.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Hugs,

Rebecca xxx

  1. All I can say is that I am speechless - this is fit for a queen. The intimate atmosphere reminds me very much of Marie Antoinette's Petit Trianon. Well done.
