Making Polymer Clay Miniatures for my Witch's Den - Fairy Tale M.M. Tower.

Hello dear friends,

I really hope that you have all enjoyed your Easter. Sorry for not posting sooner. I am still trying to get used to the change of the hour. I don't like it one bit! For some reason it's really hard for me to get used to the change, especially this hour. I also wanted to welcome a new follower of my blog. A big welcome to Kayjay.

During the past week I have made some polymer clay miniatures for my Fairy Tale Magical Mystery Tower. This time I will share with you some new miniatures that I finished for the Witch's Den which is situated on the ground floor. The scene is basically focused on Disney's fairy Tale motion picture Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. So I was really hoping to capture some objects that have been featured in the pictures.

I had some empty glass bottles and a small cauldron which fitted in perfectly and filled them up with liquid polymer clay and some coloring. They came out just perfect.

Then I started working on some polymer clay miniatures to fill in shelves and the table. I have made some potion bottles and a few books of different sizes. I have also made some pottery style miniatures which are the mortar with pedestal. A small bowl with herbs, a broken water jug with a spider in it, a deep plate with some sort of bones and another spider. The spiders have also been done by me. I think my favorite is the broken water jug.

I have also made a crystal sphere. The sphere is a small glass marble and the base is made out of polymer clay and small glass stones. A very well used candle stick, A silver chalice with a potion that transformed the queen into a hag and another favorite piece was the head of a scull with the crow in it which is also seen in Disney's motion picture Snow White.  The crow is made out of plastic; a small little toy that luckily enough Matthias found in a sweet threat.

To continue with the scene I have also made a basket full of apples. The basket and every little apple has been done with polymer clay. I have used pigments to make the apples look realistic as much as possible. I have also made the poisoned apple which will not be placed in the basket but on the table among the potions. The basket of apples is another favorite piece.

Well that  is all for now folks. I hope you like my new miniatures.

I have also added a few new polymer clay miniatures in my Etsy shop.

Please keep tuned as I will be sharing with you some more miniatures for this project very soon.

Take Care and see you soon.
