The Launch and The Grand Opening of My Miniature World.

Hello Everyone,

How are you all? Hope you had a great weekend. Finally the Official Launch of My Miniature World and the Grand Opening of the dolls house exhibition was here went smoothly. It was an amazing experience and very successful.

Friday 31st August 2018 was the official day of the launch where the Minister for Culture Hon Dr. Owen Bonnici, The Mayor of Marsaskala Mr. Mario Calleja, Councillor John Baptist Camiller and the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Rodrick Camilleri have attended with my family, relatives and friends for the function held at the new premises where now my dolls house collection is displayed for the public.

A small reception was held during the launch and there the parish priest gave his blessings, both the Minister for Culture and the Mayor gave their speeches and also I gave a few words of my own. The Minister and Mayor were quite impressed when I gave them the tour of my dolls house collection.

Saturday and Sunday the Dolls House Collection was opened for the public to visit. It was opened between 9:30 am and 5:00 pm. Both days were amazing and I was quite impressed with the amount of people that came to visit. It was packed. I didn't have a minute to spare to take a break or eat. Even though it was tiring it was worth it. I am very proud to say that it was the first dolls house exhibition to ever happen in Malta.

Here are some of the official photos of the launch.

From here I want to thank everyone who has attended for the launch and to the wonderful visitors that came to see the dolls house collection. Thank you all for your constant support and encouragement.

For those who couldn't make it but wanted to see the dolls house collection you are more than welcome to visit, as the dolls house collection will always be available for the public. All you have to do is call for an appointment.

Now time to pull up my sleeves and start where I left off. The Master Swordsman is pretty much done.  A new project is about to start and most probably this time there will be two dolls houses. So keep tuned for the next update.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Hugs,

Rebecca xxx

  4. Visiting Malta is still in my list. When I do, I'll certainly let you know ahead and come see your awesome display. But, sadly, due to illness in the family, it will not be so soon. I am really happy for you that the exhibition was successful.
    Hugs, Drora
