Continuing Working on Felicia's Bedroom!

 Hello Everyone,

Hope you all had a great weekend. We had strong winds for the past few days so I enjoyed my weekend working on Felicia's Bedroom.

I was all set to start working on the bed which was to fit the alcove in the wall. The bed was designed and built from scratch by me to fit the alcove.

The bedding was  also done by me with matching, cushions,  pelmet and curtains for the alcove.

Once I have completed it. I have made a few frames to be fixed to the back wall.

I also printed another frame and added a print of a girl's antique painting to put on top of the fireplace.

Do you remember when the Miniaturist, Lady Adelaide from Regent Street built the dolls house 'Le Maison de Ville' for a French noble gentleman? Well here it is for his daughter Felicia.

I still need to add more pieces of furniture to the room and accessories but I have to say I am very proud how it turned out.

Hope you like the progress of Felicia's bedroom so far. Make sure to keep tuned for the next update.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Hugs,

Started working on Felicia's Bedroom at Le Château

 Hello Everyone,

How are you all? Hope you are fine and doing well. Today I am excited to share with you more progress on my ongoing project Le Château. I started working on Felicia's Bedroom during the weekend. Felicia is the young miss that will live at Le Château.

I started off working with the back wall where I added an alcove for the bed to fit in eventually.

I added a fireplace on the left hand side of the room which I made myself.

I printed one of my own ceiling roses and hand painted it to match the room.

Finally I added the wall panels that were made to measure to fit the walls. This is how Felicia's room looks like so far.

I have started adding a few pieces of my own furniture and I can't wait to finish the bed.

This is how the house looks like so far.

I hope you like how my project is turning out. Make sure to keep tuned for the next update on Le Château.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Hugs,

Introducing Mini Becks!

 Good morning everyone,

Here I am once again! Hope you are all well. Today I wanted to share with you the latest news at My Miniature World.

A few days ago a new doll arrived. She's no ordinary doll. My dear friend and doll maker Beverley Senatore surprised me with a Mini Me doll!!!

I introduce you Mini Becks! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw her. Beverley has made such a good job of her and the resemblance is there.  I would have never imagined that there would be a Mini Me doll! Thank you so much Beverley.

Mini Becks is a 1:12 scale doll and is also wearing one of my outfits that I had worn during a 'Life & Style' TV Interview with Charles Saliba and Marbec Spiteri.

For the time being Mini Becks will be staying in the DHE Museum but I am pretty sure that we will be hearing more about her. She is quite outspoken and mischievous.

The lady is quite bossy and she forced me to dress up to take photos with her. She insisted that I should wear the same outfit like her.

So this is all for today! I am looking forward to see Miss Becks appear in the blog too.

Tomorrow it's Easter so from here I want to wish you a very Happy Easter with my favorite Girls Posy and Willow.

Make sure to keep tuned for the next updates at My Miniature World.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Hugs,
