The Master Swordsman Pub & Inn makes it in Print!

 Hello Everyone,

How are you all? Hope you are having a great week. As some of you may have already noticed 'The Master Swordsman Pub & Inn' made it in print on the latest issue 342 of the DollsHouse World UK Magazine for the month of July. A big thank you goes to Sandra Harding for such a wonderful article.

I can't believe that it has been  almost three years since I built the Master Swordsman Pub & Inn. It is very special to me and having it featured makes me very proud.

As much I was happy to see it featured, I am quite sure that this has also put a smile on my father's face.

For those who haven't seen the article yet, here you can find a link to it;  Rebecca's pub pays tribute to her swordsman Father.

Here are a few pictures that have been featured in the article.

Also in the magazine one of the paintings that inspired me to make our lovely Susanna the barmaid was also  featured in this issue.

'A Bar at the Folies-Bergère was painted and exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1882, is considered the last major work of French painter Èdouard Manet.

This is all for today. I hope you will enjoy the article. I can't wait to share with you my progress on my ongoing project, so make sure to keep tuned.

Take Care and See You Soon.

The Antique Mischievous Sisters

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all well. Today I wanted to share with you three little sisters that arrived just a couple of days ago at My Miniature World. They are quite old in age but they will remain young forever.

Frida, Edda & Irma

The three lovely sisters; Frida, Edda and Irma. They are Hertwig Bisque jointed dolls made in Germany in the early 1900's.

Their faces are full of mischief and I just couldn't resist them .

Frida

Frida gives me the impression that she is the youngest and quite the trouble maker.

Edda

Edda is the eldest with a very beautiful face and rosy cheeks. She is the leader of the pack and makes sure that what she wants; she gets.

Irma

Irma; the middle child. She is the least mischievous of the three. She's known as the peacemaker and the most responsible.

For the time being they will be staying in my oldest dolls house The Gottschalk but I will be moving them eventually.

So this is all for today. I hope you like the three little girls.  Keep tuned for the next updates on my ongoing project and latest news.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Starting The Study room in 'Le Château'.

 Hello Everyone,

Hope you are having a great week. Finally today I will be sharing with you my progress on my ongoing Project 'Le Château'. I have worked on one of the rooms in the attic which I have turned in to a study.

The Study

The room is quite small and as the back and side walls are slanting they are not as easy to decorate. I have also built the fire place and printed the fire surround.

The wallpaper was printed by me and I made the border.

I have also printed and painted another ceiling rose for the room.

Here are some more pictures of the room.

I can't wait to start decorating it with furniture and accessories. That is all for today. Keep tuned for the next update.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Hugs,

The Doll Collection at My Miniature World!

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all well. Summer has really kicked in and I have to say its been quite hot. As always I am happy to welcome my summer days. I enjoy  having the kids at home for their summer break

Today I wanted to share with you something different. As you all know, all my dolls houses have beautiful dolls made by Beverely Senatore. The lovely ambassadress Milly Collins is visiting the properties and introducing the characters that dwell in them.. She has already visited a few houses and you can find all about them in this link Milly and the Dolls!

Apart from that, I have a collection of dolls which have been stored and waiting for their turn to join My Miniature World. It is such a pity to have these amazing detailed dolls without showcasing them in my Museum. While St. George's Hill is still a blank canvas waiting to be decorated and worked on I decided to display these dolls within it.

I was surprised to see how good they look displayed in the bare dolls house. Some of them already been seen in Regent Street and have a place saved for them.

Here are the photos of each of the room.

The collection keeps on growing because Beverely makes some amazing unique dolls.I find that these dolls give so much character to the buildings.  Hope you like them.  Make sure to Follow Milly's section on the blog.to get to meet them all.

This is all for today. Keep tuned for the next updates.

Take Care and See You Soon.
