A new guest at Pembroke Grange

Hello Everyone,

Hope you  are all well and had a great week. Just in time for the weekend, I couldn't stop myself from not sharing our new guest that arrived at My Miniature World.  She will be staying at our Regency Period house, Pembroke Grange. 

Our guest of honor is  our beautiful Duchess of Hastings Daphne Basset the eldest daughter of the Bridgerton Family. 

She was impressed with the house and she has settled in the bedroom.

Daphne is wearing a pretty dress in her favorite colour light blue.  Her hair is pulled up in a role and jewels were added to form as one of her tiaras. 

Her facial features are very delicate. I have to say Beverley has made an amazing job of her and I couldn't be more happy with her. 

I think she will be very happy here. So this is all for today. Hope you like our new addition to Pembroke Grange. Make sure to keep posted for the next updates.

Pembroke Grange makes it on Print

 Hello Everyone,

How are you all?  Here we are again. Today I will be posting a very quick post. Last month Pembroke Grange was featured on the Dolls House World Magazine.

Here are some pictures of the interior. 

A few weeks ago a new resident was added to Pembroke Grange. Mr. Darcy's best friend Mr. Bingley. He is really handsome and I am so glad that he was added to this project.

Closing the Curtains to Pembroke Grange

Hello Everyone,

Here I am again with the Grand Finale of Pembroke Grange. I hope you are having a great week and that you are keeping safe. 

During the weekend I got to complete Pembroke Grange which was inspired by Jane Austen's Novel 'Pride & Prejudice'. It took me eleven months to complete and I still can't believe that it's ready.

The final touches on the house were the curtains. Nine set of curtains had to be made with the pelmets and all. It took me quite some time to finish but they were definitely worth it. 

I also added the last flower pot that I made for the conservatory. The Bearded Irises which are made out of paper.

Finally the house was complete both from the outside and the inside.

The conservatory on the left gave the house so much more character. 

The Dining room next to the conservatory now has a new character. Hill the maid who is preparing dinner for her masters. Hill is another doll made by my friend and doll maker Beverley Senatore.

In the Drawing room you will find Jane Austen and Miss Elizabeth Bennett having tea and reading poems.

The Hallways in the middle of the building that also lead to other hidden rooms.

On the left hand side on the first floor you will find the main bedroom in shades of blue.

On the right hand side of the building you will find Mr. Darcy in the Study.

Mr. Darcy has a true likeness to Colin Firth. Very proud to have him.

My favorite part is the turning on of the lights especially when it's dark.

Do you have a habit of peeping through the windows when it's done? I do and I love it! It reminds me so much of little Becky. 

I am very happy how the whole project turned out and very proud of it too. Now it stands proudly part of my dolls house collection at My Miniature World. 

Few of you would be asking what comes next.  During the weekend I also got to start studying the new project which is Le Château. It's another discontinued kit by the Dolls House Emporium and I'm hoping to turn it into a French Style House.
