Peter Pan's Nursery - Disney Dolls' House

 Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all well and that you are enjoying your weekend. Like always I am enjoying my Summer with the kids and working on new miniatures, preparing for the release and launch of my new book. St. George's Hill is still in its early stages and I will focus more on it once the launches of the books are done. In the meantime, I am also enjoying the Disney Dolls' House which comes in part work every week. 

One of my favourite rooms is the nursery which has a Peter Pan theme. As a child, I loved watching the Disney motion picture Peter Pan. I think it was one of my favourites. I knew the lines of each character by heart.  Considering that the Disney Dolls' House comes in part work I think that the nursery room is almost complete with two minor things that still need to be added.

The nursery is really cute and quite spacious with pieces that play a role in Disney's Motion Picture.

Nana's dog house and the famous toy cart that George Darling slipped on. 

The chest of Drawers is still bare but will have a few accessories on it eventually. 

Peter Pan looked lonely in the nursery so I made a tiny Tinkerbell. She was not easy considering that she stands only 15mm from the tip of her wings to the ground. 

Even though she should have been smaller I think they look quite nice together.

The Basement for Winnie the Pooh

 Hello Everyone,

How are you all? Hope you had a great weekend. It has been a while since my last post. Rest assured that I am busy with an extraordinary project that I will share with you when the time comes. Unfortunately for the time being it has to be hidden. 

Between the errands and this project, I continue adding to the Disney Doll House Project. I continued working on the basement where our beloved Winnie the Pooh would stay. 

The collection is quite big and takes a while to collect on a weekly basis but it is definitely worth it. All the parts fit and it is very detailed. This collection can be purchased from the Agenda Book Shop. Here is the online link to get the issues Disney Doll House

The part work was easy to complete the building of the basement. 

I totally love how the furniture pieces turned out and Winnie the Pooh seems very happy.

Winnie the Pooh at the Disney Dolls' House.

 Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend. As you all know I am building this Disney Dolls' House which comes in parts every week. It is a long process but definitely worth waiting.  Sometimes you get parts to build the building, sometimes you get some nice accessories for the room and sometimes you get some furniture pieces in kit form. 

Down in the basement of the Disney Dollshouse you will find Winnie the Pooh. We all know that Pooh Bear and his friends live in the 100 Acre Wood so I am really glad that they found a spot for him. Winnie the Pooh brings so many sweet memories of when I was a child and later on he was passed on to my children whom they loved just as much as I did. 

At the moment I am working on the basement part of the dollshouse. While waiting for the parts sometimes I tend to work on the furniture pieces too and I have completed some of Winnie's most important furniture pieces.

I am happy that Pooh Bear was one of the first figures to come with the part work.  I have never had him as a figurine so I am glad that now he will also be part of the Dollshouse. Love his smile. 

One of the first furniture kits that arrived for Winnie the Pooh was actually the tall mirror. We all know how important the mirror is to Pooh especially when he comes to do his daily exercise in front of it to improve his appetite for honey. 

It comes in bits and pieces but they all fit nicely like a puzzle.  Pooh Bear looks happy. 

After the mirror I got to build the cupboard where Pooh Bear stores some of his honey pots and his table.  

On the table you will get to find his flower pot and his kite that he enjoy flying with his friends.

Continuing with Disney Dolls' House

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all well. Here we are and I am picking up from where I have left off. 

I am very excited to share with you the progress of the Disney Dolls' House which comes in part work on weekly basis. If you are a big fan of Disney then this is definitely a must-have collection. Apart from building the dollshouse you will also get lots of historical information on most of the  Disney Motion Pictures Movies. For those who live in Malta you can find it available to purchase from the Agenda Book Shop 

It does take me a while to share with you the updates of this dollshouse as I have to wait for several parts which can take weeks and even months to complete a good part of the project. 

The good thing is that so far I have managed to complete the building of the ground floor area which includes Mickey's room, Frozen's hallways and Alice's kitchen. 

I have to say I am very pleased with the outcome and all the parts are of high quality and fit like a puzzle. Including the building pieces I also have some nice furniture pieces and accessories from various rooms that come as well with the issues. I will be sharing these pieces with you in the long run but I have to say they are worth the wait and I can't wait to see it complete. 

So as Mickey's room was basically already done, I could move on with the other two rooms. The instructions that come with the magazine are very easy to follow with lots of pictures to help you along the way. 

I continued working on Frozen's Hallway where you will find eventually the entrance to the house and the staircase. I totally love the vibrant colors of the wall paper and the detail of the wall borders. 

My sweet Leah, since she was a baby, she loves Disney especially Mickey and Mini Mouse, so this is a project that I get to share with her too. 

After Frozen's Hall Way was done, I worked on Alice in Wonderland's kitchen. The room is so spacious and it fits so well with the theme.

The Start of Mickey's Room

 Hello Everyone,

How are you all? Hope you are well. It's been a while since I share my progress on the Disney's Dollshouse but I have to say I am enjoying it and I always look forward to the weekly issue. 

Today I will be sharing with you the progress of Mickey's Room.

It does take a while to collect the parts before I can share with you the progress of the room, but here we are and I have to say I am very pleased how things are looking. 

Between issue number 5 and issue number 15 I managed to build partially Mickey's room.  It is quite grand and he looks very proud of it. 

So first I started off by wall papering the walls and adding the cornice and the wall borders. 

Once the walls were built I added the flooring and the last few bits of the cornice and wall boarder. 

I also added a few accessories and furniture that belong to the room. 

The detail is amazing and I have to say even though the collection is part work, it is very precise and the pieces fit in nicely.

Entrance to the Disney Dolls' House

Hello Everyone,

Hope you had a great week and that you are looking forward to the Weekend. I am really excited to share with you the progress of my Disney Dolls' House. 

It will take a while to share with you some of the work on this dolls house as every week, I receive a new part to add to the project. In my experience, for those who took the plunge to build the Disney dolls house, I suggest to wait for all parts before you actually start building an object or part of the house. 

In the first, 3 issues you would be able to built the entrance door to the dolls house. Here are some pictures step by step how the entrance door was built. I have to say I am impressed with the detail and how precise the parts are. The instructions are very simple to follow from the magazine.

I started of by building the doors and adding the details to it.

Then I started working on the decorative door frame.

The doors fitted perfectly in to the frame. 

Mickey looks very happy with his front door.
