Santa's Work Shop makes it on the Dolls House World Magazine

 Hello Everyone,

How are you all? Hope you are well and that you are enjoying your weekend. I am sure that most of you have already started decorating for Christmas. I think for this year I am quite set even if it's going to be completely different from my past Christmases.

Today, I am pleased to tell you that once again Santa's Work Shop has been published on the latest issue No:337 on The Dolls House World, UK magazine.

You will find a two page article on the issue about Santa' Workshop that now has been built since Christmas 2012.

I had started this project back in September of 2012 just right after my little Leah was born. I wanted to mark her first Christmas with this project and her older siblings loved it.

This year we will be having something different for Christmas. I wanted to introduce you to Miss Holly. Miss Holly is the Christmas lady that brings joy during the festive season. She is another lovely doll made by my dear Friend and Dolls Maker Beverley Senatore. For twelve days she is going to be visiting Regent Street and spread some happiness there. So make sure to follow My Miniature World on FaceBook, Instagram and the blog to see when it happens.

So this is all for today. Make sure to stayed tuned for the next updates.

Santa's Work Shop

So Santa's Work Shop once again has made it in print on the Dollshouse World Magazine January 2017 Issue 292. It has been 4 years since I have completed Santa's Work Shop and I have to admit it brings such sweet memories especially of my little Leah who was just a new born baby.

I never tire of looking at the house and it always pleases me when a Dolls House Magazine asks me to publish an article about it. I know that Santa's Work Shop has still so much to offer and I still have to share so much about it.

Here are some pictures of it.

In the mean time I am working on a small Christmas Shadow Box. A few years ago I had made a room box but I am not very pleased with it so I thought of changing it, use less items and try a new Shadow box. I still have plans for the room box with another project. Also if all things go on as planed I am thinking of making a big Christmas project some time in late Summer which will be Santa's House and a Christmas Shop.

Also like the years before we will be having a Christmas Advent Calendar 2016 with some great miniature tutorials and projects. So on 1st December you can open your first door. I am sure you will find it useful.

So this is all for today. I will be sharing with you some new additions I have for the Queen Mary's bedroom diorama. So keep tuned for the next update.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Once Again Santa's Work Shop makes it in print!

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday. I am sure that most of you are all set for Christmas and have decorated your home for the festive season. I was quite busy myself and I do enjoy seeing the kids getting excited while decorating. They remind so much of when I was a child myself. The weather is still nice even if it is getting slightly colder.

After the great success we had last year with the Advent Calendar and as promised we have it once again. This is to thank you friends and followers. You can all click on the Advent Calendar 2015 and open the doors daily to find a miniature tutorial.

It's been three years since I built Santa's Work Shop and it looks gorgeous as ever. My little Leah was still a new born when I built Santa's Work Shop and it brings back so many sweet memories. Once again Santa's Work Shop makes it in print. This time on American Miniaturists on December's issue with a five page article.

I think it is still one of my favorite projects which it is not surprising. This year was the first year that my little Leah (being a 3 year old) could appreciate it like her siblings and she just enjoys looking at it all lit and asking questions about it.

Santa's Work Shop

It felt so strange seeing my little one asking about it when practically I built it when she was just a tiny tot and I wanted it to  be done before Christmas to mark her 1st Christmas.

You can all read the article The Magic of Christmas on this link.

I guess deep down I will always believe in St. Nick. Here are some pictures of it.

Every year I enjoy adding something small to the Work shop even if there isn't much space left. I have changed the little table for the Nativity Scene and added some of my own Christmas miniature books on the shelf. One of the miniature book is my latest called The Twelve Days of Christmas.

I also added Santa's Magical Toy Sack which is lying near the wrapping up station.

I have also made a miniature Nut Cracker out of polymer clay. It was my first trial and I think it was just fit for the Work Shop.

New Santa's Nice List
It was about time that Santa's Nice list needed to be updated and changed. A few grown not believe in Santa and others went down big time on the Naughty list.

So once again we have a new, longer and much improved in design Nice List. I wanted to thank  my friends and members of My Miniature World Group on Face book for taking part. I am pleased to say the the group has reached over 550 members.

Santa is very pleased with his new Nice List.

To show my appreciation to you friends, followers and fans it's time for a Christmas Free Give Away.

Santa's Work Shop makes it to the Print.

Hello my dear friends,

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and started your New Year with bliss. I have spent my Christmas and the start of the New Year like always with my family. I think it is the best way and I just love it.  Now we will start a new fresh page with this new year which brings a new project and more to come.

Before sharing with you the new project and the continuation of my Toll House I just wanted to share with you that an article on my Santa's Work Shop was published on February's 2014 issue of the Dolls House and Miniature Scene UK Magazine.

I was really happy to see my Santa's Work Shop in print. Here is the article for you to read. Santa's Work Shop article

I have built it just in time for Christmas of 2012. This dolls house remains one of my favorite and brings so many sweet memories. This year I have added one little miniature that I made myself to it. I had this little nativity set for years but never really got to use it as some how it looked so out of place or something was missing to it. This year I decided to actually built the surrounding for it. I have made it out of wood and used some modelling moss for it.

My hand built miniature Nativity Scene

I was really happy how it all turned out. I wanted it in the right project and the best dolls house was my Santa's Work Shop in Santa's Quarters. I might change the table and even it's position but so far here it is.

I hope you all like it.

I also wanted to let you know that for the month of January 2014 a free gift will be given with all orders from My Miniature World Shop at Etsy.  (the purchases of Downloadable books are not included in the offer).

I also have some new ceramic items available too. My Miniature World Shop
