St. George's Hill

How are you all? Hope you are having a great week. I have some exciting news to share. Still can't believe it yet even if it has been here for a couple of weeks. Now I can say I am the proud owner of St. George's Hill. 

St. George's Hill

St. George's Hill is an extremely rare dolls house by The Dolls House Emporium going back back to the 1980. It was one of the first designed dolls house by the brand. I had my eyes fixed on this house for the past two years until finally the previous owners agreed to ship it.

It is such a special dolls house. It is the only Dolls House from the DHE collection which has side wall windows. For it's age it is in pristine condition. 

The interior hasn't been touched yet. It has nine rooms with an elegant staircase in the center of the house. 

Apart from that, the dolls house fronts are not flat, but quite deep to add small pieces of furniture and accessories to them.

The lovely previous owners made such a wonderful job on the outside of the house. I won't be changing  any of it but I will keep on adding to it. I can't wait to start working on the inside of the house. The good thing is that the interior is still bare so basically I will be giving it its first decor. 

Once 'Le Chateau' project is done, I will start working on this one.
