Hello everyone,
Hope you are all having a great week and that you are all well. Busy as ever here; working on new miniatures for my etsy shop and also working on two projects simultaneously.
It has been awhile since I updated you about my Regency style project. There is so much going on in My Miniature World at the moment, but I am pleased to say that Pembroke Grange is pretty much done on the outside.
Pembroke Grange |
As the interior walls and flooring of the house were done, I focused my attention on the outside of the building.
The two front panels still needed to be wallpapered to match with the interior rooms.
The wall papers do blend in nicely together. I fixed in the window and door trimmings and with that I moved to front patio.
Once it was ready I started adding the final touches by weathering the whole building to give it a more realistic look.
During the weekend Pembroke Grange moved to its permanent place among my dolls house collection, where now it will be decorated with furniture and accessories.
Here are some photos of its details.
I couldn't help not turning the lights on when it got dark. Even though it is far from ready, I think it looks pretty.
This is all for today. I can't wait to really start working on the inside. I hope you like what I have done so far. Make sure to keep tuned for the next updates.
Take Care and See You Soon.
Hugs,
Rebecca xxx
Great job on the color palette for this project. Both the interior and exterior look fab! Great photographs too.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Troy. Glad you like my work.
DeleteCongratulations on finishing the building. I don't know how you do it with all the work you have. It must not be an easy task! At first I thought you chose a bold colour for the building but I was so wrong especially after the art work of the weathering. You never cease to impress. Such a beautiful talented girl with a beautiful unique mind.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your wonderful comments.
DeleteThis house is simply magical!! Can't believe I've seen it being built from scratch! Congratulations, sweetheart!! xxx
