Miss Holly's Christmas Gift

 Merry Christmas Everyone,

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your family and loved ones. Christmas has always been special to me. It is a time to be with family and reflect. A  time to spread goodness and wonder.

Miss Holly's Christmas was no exception to this rule. She celebrates her Birthday just a few days before Christmas and her name fits the occasion. The difference is that Miss Holly celebrates Christmas everyday of her life. She shares the Christmas spirit throughout the entire year.

Like every Christmas Eve, she closes the shop, visits children and people who are in need. She leaves special gifts for them too. Then she spends some quality time with her sister Carol reminiscing past Christmases both good and bad.

As soon as it starts to get late, Miss Holly retires to her room not before she prepares biscuits and eggnog for Father Christmas and a carrot to share with one of his Reindeer. Even though she is no longer a child Miss Holly is a true believer.

Once she sets the table and makes sure that everything is in order she goes to bed and dreams away about Christmas.

In the middle of the night while Miss Holly is fast asleep, like every year Father Christmas still goes down the chimney to leave a special gift just for her.

He knows that Miss Holly is no longer a little girl but he knows that deep down in her heart the little girl that always loved Christmas still dwells within. This year a special gift was left for her by the tree.

He never left without taking the delicious treats that Miss Holly has left for him.

The next day Miss Holly woke up early to find the beautiful gift Father Christmas left for her with a special note. He left her a cute doll angel which she totally loved.

Isn't it adorable and so tiny?

Miss Holly is always so thankful for such a special gift.

So this is all for today. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas from all of us here at My Miniature World.

Make sure to keep tuned for new updates.

Take Care and see you soon.

Miss Holly's Living Room

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are having a great week. As Christmas is approaching Miss Holly is all set for the Big Day. She is happy as can be and quite busy in her Christmas Shoppe.

Just in time for Christmas. I have managed to complete the living room.

It turned out quite pretty and cosy.

I have built the furniture kits from Mellisa's MiniWorld which I totally love.

On the table you will find some small accessories that I made and Santa's treat and a carrot for one of the Reindeer.

I have decorated the room with some Christmas decorations for the Festive Season.

One of the favorite decorations that I made is the Reindeer Wreath.

Here are a few photos of the complete room.

So this is all for today. Make sure to keep tuned for the next update to see the complete project.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Santa's Visit at the Little Angel's Toy Shop

Hello Everyone,

How are you all? Hope you had a great weekend and that you're prepared for the festive season. Six Days until Christmas! Like always I am looking forward to Christmas and spending some quality time with the children.

My Miniature World has been quite busy too. At Santa's Workshop St. Nick and his Elves have been busy for months making toys for all the little boys and girls. Santa has also a special delivery of toys to the Little Angel's Toy Shop in Regent Street.

The new handsome Santa Claus was made by my dear friend and doll maker Beverley Senatore. I added some accessories and improvements to him.

A week before Christmas Day, Santa visited Mrs. Ella and her Toy Shop in Regent Street to deliver toys and a beautiful set of special dolls.

Mrs. Ella was so happy with the new selection of toys and couldn't wait to display them.

A new display was added for the special dolls in the Little Angel's Toy Shop.

The display fitted in the shop perfectly and the girls spent most of their time taking in the dolls, trying to choose their favorite.

This is all for today. Make sure to keep tuned during this week as we will be sharing with you the complete project of Miss Holly's Christmas Shoppe.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Holly's Bedroom

 Hello Everyone,

How are you all? It has been a while since my last post and I truly want to apologize. The last few weeks have been crazy for me.  Apart from all the miniature works to keep on schedule for my clients, I had to battle a nasty case of influenza and to add to the toll, I wasn't the only one to get it but also my three kids. It has been rough I have to say but I am back on track and the good thing is that I also got to add more to my Christmas Project. I am really hoping that I will get to finish Miss Holly's house before Christmas.

I am happy to say that I have completed  Miss Holly Bedroom.

It is quite a small room but one of the things that I like about it that it's front also has enough depth where furniture can be added to.

The first thing that I started working on was the bed itself and it's bedding. I wanted to give it a Chrismasy and warm feeling. I was really happy with the outcome of the bed.

Then I started working on a few furniture pieces and one of my favorites is the Victorian washing table which I have adapted and made a ceramic Christmas vanity set for it.

The cluster of frames and mirror that hang on the walls were also done by me. Every frame has a Victorian Christmas scene.

One of my favorite picture frames that you will  find in the room, is the  one  of the oval Bow frames that is hanging on top of the bed.

In the front you will find Miss Holly's ladies bureau next to the window and a small pedestal table with tea.

On the desk you will see that Miss Holly is preparing to send her Christmas greetings to her loved ones.

I think the bedroom turned out quite nice.

So this is all for today. I hope you like Miss Holly's bedroom. There is still so much to do. Make sure to keep tuned for the next updates.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Hugs,
