The Complete Dining Room in Pembroke Grange

Hello everyone,

Hope you all had a great weekend. Christmas is getting closer, and even though I'm busier than ever, this weekend I got to work on my Pembroke Grange.

Finally I am proud to say I have one of the rooms complete which happens to be my favorite; the Dining room.

The Dining Room
After decorating the conservatory, I was so eager to get my hands on the next room. This room has the least pieces of furniture due  to the door ways and the murals on the walls. Apart from the fire place, I only added a side table and the dining room table with six chairs.

I have re-upholstered the chairs and have printed my own fabric.

It had been a while since I worked with polymer-clay, and it was fun to do a typical Georgian Dinner for the room. I got myself busy and did a dinner that you would expect from a typical ordinary family in the period.

On the side table I also made a few apples and oranges.

I am also pleased that I have managed to print my very first carpet using velvet textured paper. The carpet has a typical regency design and has fitted the room perfectly.

At the end I also added a few of my own hand painted white metal miniatures. The angel on the pedestal and the mantel clock on the fire place were painted by me while the pair of figurines were painted by my talented father.

Here are some photos of the complete room.

I hope you like how I have furnished and decorated the dining room. So far I have no intention of adding more to it but you never know.

This is all for today. Make sure to keep tuned for the next updates on my ongoing projects.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Hugs,

Rebecca xxx

  3. Magnificent Rebecca. This has to be my favourite room so far but I won't be surprised to see more of this house. The colours and details are beautiful just like you.
