Collectors Exhibition in Aid of 'Sebh Foundation'

Hello Everyone,

How are you all? Hope you are doing well. It has been quite a while since my last post. I have been extremely busy with everything, with the children and at home that I just didn't find the time to do anything for myself.  Hopefully I will be getting back on my swing and will continue working on my projects. Considering that we are in July, and Christmas is just a few months away, I should really pick up on Holly's living quarters.

Today I will be sharing with you something different and something which I never did before. Last weekend a few of my dollshouses took part in the 'Collectors Exhibition'.

The Collectors Exhibition was organized by the producers of the same TV Show 'The Collectors' which has been aired last November. The Exhibition was held last Sunday, 17th July 2022  to raise funds in aid of 'Sebh Foundation' which helps and shelters abused women with children. Various collectors took part in this exhibition. The collections were amazing to look at, war medals, beautiful clocks, railway trains, postal stamps and so much more.

It was my first time that I decided to take part in such an exhibition considering that it was for a good cause. I wasn't very sure about it and I have to say I felt very uneasy moving any of my dollshouses to share in an exhibition.

I decided to go for my smallest projects that I could set up quite quick and that would fit without too much hassle in my car.

So I decided to go for my classical dollshouse 'Rose Cottage', the Summer house 'Sea Shells', The Queen's Bedroom Diorama and a small two wall open room box that I usually take with me when invited on a TV Show.

I always manage to set up the two wall open room box with something different.

I have to say I am very glad that I took part, and I also got to meet some great collectors and meet the visitors.

We also got to have a group photo of some of the Collectors with the organizers of the Exhibition.

So this is all for today. Hopefully this weekend I will get to work a bit more on my project so I can share with you what I have been up to. Make sure to keep tuned for the next updates.  Wishing you all a happy weekend.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Hugs,

Rebecca xxx
