Hello Everyone,
How are you all? I hope you are well.
Today I would like to share with you something very special and very close to my heart.
On the 21st of March 2026, the International Prize “The Universal Genius”, a tribute to Leonardo da Vinci, was awarded at the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci in Milan. This prestigious event brings together collectors, journalists, politicians, art lovers, and talented contemporary artists from around the world.
I was deeply honoured to be selected among artists recognised for their artistic merit and creative journey.
The award itself celebrates artists whose work reflects originality, vision, and the genius of creative thinking. It is inspired by Leonardo da Vinci, who is universally recognised as the embodiment of a true universal genius. His extraordinary ability to blend art and science, from masterpieces such as the Mona Lisa to his visionary inventions and studies, continues to inspire generations.
The ceremony took place at the remarkable National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan, one of the largest technical and scientific museums in Europe. It houses an incredible collection of models based on Leonardo’s drawings and stands as a tribute to innovation, creativity, and human achievement.
Unfortunately, due to prior commitments in the United Kingdom, I was unable to attend the ceremony in person. I have to admit that my heart felt a little heavy knowing I could not be there to experience such a special moment.
However, I was truly honoured to receive the award and the official catalogue, where my dolls’ house Le Château is featured. Seeing my work presented in this context is something I will always treasure.
This recognition reminds me of why I began this journey in miniature art. Every tiny detail, every story, and every piece created with love has led me to moments like this.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Effetto Arte Fondazione and the curators for this recognition and for including my work among such inspiring artists.
Even though I was not present at the ceremony, I feel incredibly grateful to be part of this experience, and I look forward to continuing this journey, one miniature at a time.
Thank you all for being part of my world and for your continued support.
