The Kitchen in The Traditional Dolls House

Hello everyone,

Hope you all had a great week. I am so looking forward to another weekend. I will continue working on my Pembroke Grange. Last weekend I have tiled the whole roof. Still lots to do on the outside of the house.

Today I will be giving you an update on The Traditional Dolls House. The girls have completed the kitchen and for their first time decorating one, it looks gorgeous.

The Kitchen in The Traditional Dolls House

The girls have quite a good taste and it was great hearing them choose the miniatures together to add to the kitchen. They asked for pots and pans. Plates, cutlery, glasses and mugs.

We got to work on a few miniature food pieces with polymer clay and they enjoyed being with me while working on them.

They have spotted that the kitchen sink didn't have any taps for the water to run. It surprised me to see that they were looking for tiny details to make it look realistic. I gave them some glass jars and they filled them up with all sorts of mini food. They wanted their favorite soft drink 'Coke' So they got a whole crate of that.

Here are some more photos of the welcoming kitchen.

The girls tend to enjoy playing with this room. Apparently the dolls are always hungry. I think they did an amazing job.

Will be sharing with you some more updates on  the rooms in the Traditional Dolls House.

Also for those who haven't noticed, Posy has been on another adventure. She has Discovered Mummy's Old Dolls House and she has so much to share. Visit Posy The Tiny Bear Blog to see more.

Make sure to keep tuned for the next update on the blog. Very soon I will be sharing with you the on going progress of Pembroke Grange.

Take Care and See You Soon.

Hugs,

  1. A very stylish kitchen. I must say that the girls have done a fantastic job there. I am not surprised! If they take after their talented mother they will turn out to be great Miniaturist just like her. Keep them under your wing Rebecca, they are very lucky to have you.
